Hi. This is Mayor Mike Cahill with a Thursday morning update. First, please tune in tonight to BevCam from 6-7:30 PM on Channel 8 for our third Summer Remote Concert featuring Ditto the Trio playing music for us all to enjoy. You can watch live on BevCam TV Channel 8 or on Youtube at . Again, tonight’s concert featuring Ditto the Trio will be broadcast live from 6-7:30 PM tonight. I also want to share a few reminders for everyone. While we continue to see fairly low confirmed COVID-19 transmission rates in Beverly, this is in significant part thanks to all the continued vigilance and precautions most of us take every day. So, please continue to keep a safe physical distance from others wherever you are, wash your hands frequently, and don’t go out of the house when you are sick. Please be patient and kind with people, and remember, even on these beautiful summer days, to check on your neighbors, especially those who live alone. If you feel alone and isolated, please reach out – to family, a neighbor, to our Senior Center and City Hall staff at 921-6017 or 921-6000. We all are responsible to each other and no one needs to be alone now. And last, please let’s all of us show that we care by wearing our face coverings and masks. Please wear them outdoors whenever we come within six feet of others and indoors in stores and lobbies of buildings all the time. From the start of this pandemic, we’ve been in this together, and we need to persevere – to hold strong to what we know works against this virus - keeping our distance, covering our faces, washing our hands. Let’s all continue to care about each other, and let’s recommit now and every day to keeping each other safe. Thank you, All. Be well.
