It is the mission of the Beverly Health Department to serve as a resource committed to educate, inform and protect the general public and meet the multitude of health related needs of the community. 

Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 111, Section 31, provides the Board of Health with the Authority to make reasonable regulations. The Health Department is responsible for the enforcement of local regulations as well as those mandated by state law.

Choke Saver Training 2023

Northeast Regional Ambulance will be offering choke-saver trainings to assist restaurants that have seating capacities of 25 or greater at the Beverly Council on Aging. 

Please contact the Beverly Health Dept. at 978-921-8591 to register for a class. The classes are limited to 8 people per class. Please bring a check made payable to the instructor at the time of the class, the fee for the training is $18.00. Learn more or check available training dates here.

Diaper Drive 

The Beverly Health Department along with its regional partners in: Danvers, Essex, Hamilton, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Peabody, Salem, Saugus, Swampscott, Rockport and Wenham will hold a Diaper Drive to assist families in need and in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month. 

All sizes are needed but size 5 and 6 are in greater need.
