Beverly Waste Reduction Committee

The Beverly Waste Reduction Committee acts in an advisory and consulting capacity to the Mayor, City Council, and other interested City departments, boards, committees or commissions and to the citizens of the City, relative to any and all matters concerning solid waste management to identify ways of increasing recycling and waste reduction and serve as a resource for the general education of the public with respect to matters concerning solid waste management, solid waste reduction, and recycling.

Free Styrofoam Recycling Event

Saturday, June 11, 2022

FREE EVENT! OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF SALEM AND BEVERLY Hold on to your Styrofoam! While Styrofoam cannot be recycled curbside, Save That Stuff will be collecting it at this drop-off event. Styrofoam will be densified at their recycling facility and delivered to secondary markets for recycling. PLEASE ONLY BRING RIGID, WHITE EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE (STYROFOAM).
Sorry, no packaging peanuts or food service containers such as meat trays, clamshells, or Styrofoam cups can be accepted.

               CAN'T MAKE THE EVENT? We're offering a drop-off option at Beverly Public Library's Barnet  Gallery (lower-level) on Thursday + Friday (June 9 + 10), in                       advance of the June 11 event.
