MassDOT Advisory: Beverly – Bridge repair work May 25 through May 29
BEVERLY – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing overnight bridge repair work will occur on the School Street Bridge over the MBTA corridor in Beverly. This work is scheduled take place during overnight hours only, from Monday, May 25, through Friday, May 29, beginning each night at 11:00 p.m. and until the following day at 6:00 a.m.
During these times, the bridge will be closed to traffic with police directing traffic to follow a detour route. These impacts are necessary to allow crews to safely and effectively perform bridge repairs.
Signage and messaging will be in place to notify drivers of these restrictions.
MassDOT encourages the public to be mindful of potential traffic impacts. Those traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.
