On February 6, 2015, the City of Beverly announced that within the next few months, all city departments will be offering residents the option to pay for a variety of bills and services online through the city’s website.
This online service will give our residents two methods of making a payment online. Using their checking account or credit card, customers who do business with the City of Beverly will be offered a convenient, efficient, and user-friendly way to pay bills or select services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Offices will also be equipped with credit card devices for residents that physically need to come to City Hall to obtain a good or service.
Mayor Mike Cahill said, “We are excited to offer our residents credit card payment options throughout our different city departments. My administration is constantly looking at ways to enhance services. These new online payment options will provide a great convenience to the people of Beverly.”
The city currently has an agreement in place with Unibank for existing online services and will be expanding services under this agreement to the additional departments.
Implementation of this process will be staggered throughout the City’s Departments and we anticipate to be fully integrated by this summer.
