October Storm Information

As you know, last night’s storm caused significant power outages in Beverly and throughout the region.  Over 200,000 households throughout the region are currently without power. With continued high winds expected to last into this evening, National Grid’s power restoration efforts are being impacted.

In the meantime, our own Department of Public Services and Public Safety personnel have been working hard since last night to clear downed trees and secure unsafe areas.  Our best understanding is that power may begin to be restored in Beverly throughout the night tonight. However, it may take several days for all power to be restored. Please stay safe and check in with your neighbors.

If you are without power and would like to report the outage call National Grid at 1-800-465-1212 or 1-800-322-3223.  If there is a tree down, please report it by using the MyBeverly App or by calling the Department of Public Services at 978-921-6053.  If there is a power line down or any other emergency please report it by calling 9-1-1.
