Creative Writing Workshops through May

Explore the art and craft of writing in this series of FREE creative writing workshops, held on Tuesdays from 9:30 - 11 a.m. through May 2013. The workshops, led by writing instructor Elizabeth Ciampa, include:

• In-class writing and take-home exercises to keep ideas flowing
• Exploration of various craft aspects of creative writing and the elements of fiction, including imagery, theme, characterization, plot, conflict, and setting
• Time to share work in class, and to collaborate with fellow writers
• Exploration of the lyricism of poetry as it relates to fiction writing, if time permits 

Participants will leave each session with pieces that may be expanded upon and utilized within current projects, as well as inspiration for future writing.
