Engineering

The Engineering Department provides many services for Beverly’s residents and businesses.  Services include managing the trash and recycling program; taking requests for TV/CRT pickup as well as the “white goods”; maintaining cemetery records; building permit reviews; maintaining property plans and utility records and marking out utilities for “Dig Safe” purposes.  Other services include contractor licensing, utility permitting, utility installation inspections, archiving drawings and service connections, and water meter sales. 

The Engineering Department plans the construction of water, sewer, and drainage projects, as well as working side-by-side with the highway department to construct Beverly’s streets.  The Engineering Department manages and maintains a top-notch GIS system (Geographic Information System), allowing users to access valuable information directly off this website.
